James Pasch
VP, Litigation
As the Vice President, Litigation, James Pasch is leading our legal advocacy efforts to combat antisemitism and extremism in the courts. James and the litigation team at ADL are bringing cases forward tackling antisemitism in our educational institutions, employment discrimination matters, cases against extremist organizations and a landmark lawsuit against the state sponsors of the October 7th terrorist attack.
Prior to leading our litigation efforts, James served as ADL’s Cleveland Regional Director (serving Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia and Western Pennsylvania). He drove the region’s response in the aftermath of the Tree of Life synagogue attack in Pittsburgh.
James is an experienced attorney, having previously worked on Capitol Hill for Senator Frank Lautenberg and on the Senate Judiciary Committee for Senator Patrick Leahy. James was a litigator in Cleveland and served as the Case Western Reserve Law School’s Assistant Dean of Development and External Affairs. James also served two-terms as a Councilman in Beachwood, Ohio.
James holds a B.A. from the University of Vermont and a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
